Stephen's Monday life thought's.

What is an assumption with no facts behind it? Is it a lie or is it just nonfactual? What if the assumption is disproved then is that person a liar.

And ten years have past

Today I received an E-mail from a high school friend. On June 14th I will have my 10 year reunion. It left me thinking, what have I really accomplished in the past ten years? Ten years seems like such a short amount of time. But I have done so much. I have owned 2 homes, found and married the love of my life, had 2 little girls with her, one is 4 and the other is 13 months. Lets see I have also been at my current job now for over 8 years and have moved up into management. I could go on and on but long story short I can only hope that the next ten years will be as good to me as the last ten years have been. I loved high school and I'm very excited to talk to people I haven't seen in years. I wonder what they have all accomplished in the past ten years and where life has left them today. I do still hang out and talk to many of my friends from high school, but some of my friends moved away or I just lost contact, and I haven't seen them in years. I just hope they show.
What have you done in the past ten years?

The end is very close!!!

A man is pregnant!!! Now this is more complicated than that. I will no longer say man because
IT was once a woman. This is the worst thing I have ever heard of and the kid doesn't stand a chance. I can't help but think that this is how the end will start. The 2 links bellow are the story. The first includes a picture that is like a train wreck you can't look away from.

My confession

I dance to dancing with the stars. It started with Jenna loving the show and now I get roped into dancing with her. She is the cutest 4 year old every, how could I say no. We just do what they do. Then I go hunt something, and drink a beer. RRRoarr.

The Software Battle

I guess that if you have more than one anti-virus on your computer, it will create a battle. The 2 trash your computer trying to kill each other. Fatal error this and wrong data that. It was a mess. But my computer tech helped destroy both and start over. Thanks

This explains alot last week was freak week!

On my way home tonight from my aunts funeral I was reflecting on what a absolutely ridiculously stupid week I have had. As I drove down through the mountains, all my questioned where answered. I saw the light as it shinned upon me and it explained so much. If you have ever worked in the medical field or retail you know, no matter what the studies prove the freaks come out for the full moon. This has been my craziest week every for so many different reasons. I can only hope that the worst is behind me, and next week will be better. I really don't think it could get any worse.

Looking for an answer to a religous question.

If a person lives a life of sin then takes their own life.
Do they go to heaven?
How does a preacher handle a funeral when he thinks the dead is not going to heaven?

Simple but easier on the eyes

At the request of many people I have changed the color of my page to black. Simple, but nice I think.

Tuesday, March 18, 2008

How do you like the changes?

I have updated my web site, with the help of Chris. I made all the changes myself. Let me know what you think. I changed the lead page, The Man, and the Common Sense Political Party.
I have put the Common Sense Political Party on hold until my wife finishes school. Life is to busy right now and she needs my help. I hardly have time for Mitchell's Brain much less anything else. Thanks for understanding. Trust me I will make it worth the wait.

Stephen's monday life thoughts.

Excuses are the number one root of the problem. Excuses are also dream crushers. So stop making excuses, it's not only your problem it's the reason your not living your dreams.
To disprove this theory, you would have to make an excuse.

Missed the accident, but was damaged.

Today on our drive home from California we had to quickly slow down because of a 3 car accident on the side of the road. There was plastic and junk all in the road. Everybody was out of there cars and safe but there was no emergency vehicles on the scene yet. The accident had to be just minutes old. Shortly after the accident we decided to stop at In and Out. After eating, we went to pull out of the parking spot and we discovered that we had a flat tire. When I was trying to get the spare tire out from underneath the van I noticed my back tires where in need of some help also. They where holding air but with no spare left I need to get some new tires. So after changing from a flat tire with no air to a spare tire with a little air, we hobbled over to a gas station to put some air in the spare. This is when we started making phone calls to find a discount tire. Luck us it was 3 miles away and they where not busy. We had an unfortunate situation but it could of been a lot worse. From the time we stopped to eat to the time we where back on the road it was only 2 hours. I think I have waited that long just to get new tires before. I checked something off of the to do list and still made it home in ok time.

Giving jobs to the handicapped.

There are some jobs the handicapped should not do. Today I was getting my hair cut by a lady that did not have full function of the right side of her body. I felt bad for the lady, it looked like she has had a stroke or something and lost full motor on one side of her body. Including Half of her mouth. This was very uncomfortable because I did not figure it out until she started cutting my hair. I let her finish the job but it was very long, scary, and painful. The scary was talking to me 6 inches from my face with half her mouth. The pain was when she used the clippers at an angle and dug them in to my scalp.
Call me what you will, but I have a new rule. If you can't use your arms, you can't cut my hair.

Stephen's Monday life thoughts

You should make it a point to take a nap on everyday of your vacation. It will make your vacation seem twice as long. Get up do something then nap. After your nap get up and do something else. Two days in the time of one.

Day 1 in Cali

California is a state that I have a love, hate relationship with. I love to visit but I think I would dislike living in it. The only exception would be living near the beach. But I believe that would require me wining the powerball. I'm kind of brain washed, since I have only lived in Arizona my entire life. But there are many things I love about California. Today in Arizona we have a pollen alert. I have felt horrible for about 1 month because of my allergies. On night in Redondo Beach area and I already feel better. I will do a pro and con list at the end of my vacation next weekend.

I was called a Man flirt today.

A little back ground on me first. I'm not scared of gay people nor do I dislike them in any way. I just happen to like women and think men are disgusting including myself. When I delivered draft beer for my company I had 8 alternative bars on my route, and now I think I have lost the ability to tell the deference between gay and strait people in the work place. My alternative bars where not only some of my best customers, they always treated me with great respect.

So I have been delivering this Bulk merchandise store for about 8 months now. There was this one receiver that hated the previous delivery driver. So I went out of my way to be extra nice so he would like me, and I would be able to get in and out of the account fast. Over the past 8 months me and the receiver would always make jokes and have fun, we had formed a great relationship that helped me get in and out of the account much faster. He would make weird jokes sometimes and I just thought he was being stupid.

One month ago he started making some really weird comments. Like one day I asked him were I should put my stuff. He replied be careful or I will tell where you can put your stuff. I thought that was his way of saying I could shove it up my ass, in a joking way. I thought nothing of it and went on with my day. The next week he started running after my pallet trying to scan the product so I stopped. He asked why I stopped, and I said because you were chasing me. He replied with you wish I was chasing you. I thought it was weird ,but I just laughed it off. This week he asked if my ring was a wedding band or a promise ring. I said wedding band and started talking about my family when he stopped me and said, you are such a man flirt and walked away.
At that moment a light bulb went off in my head and I realized he was gay and he thought I was flirting with him. Everything I had talked to him about in the past 8 months lead him to think I was flirting with him? I wasn't offended just in complete shock that I was an innocent man flirt.

The Test Drive!

This week I'm test driving my grandfathers Jeep. I have not driven a vehicle this nice since I sold my truck for a mini-van. The amazing weather we have been having, is perfect for driving around with the top off. Life and work has been so crazy. The fresh air has helped to relax on my 30 minute drive to and from work. There is nothing like my music up loud, and enjoying a beautiful day in a jeep.
I even got the wife to say she really likes it!
Jeeps were meant to have the tops off.

Stephen's Monday life thoughts

Positive Problems!
Next time you come across a problem, don't start to solve it with worst case scenario. Start with the easiest fix and work to the hard one. You mite save yourself a lot of time and effort.
Example: If something is wrong with your cars performance, don't look into buying a new engine or having yours rebuilt, before you have checked the air filter, oil, tires and spark plugs. It could be as simple as a new air filter.

A day in the Park!

My morning started very early this morning setting up our city park. Today was Mikayla's Birthday and we had her party in the park. It was an amazing day with family and friends. The weather couldn't of been any better. Thanks to all that came to celebrate my daughters first birthday. She is growing so fast.
