The dragging week

This has been a very busy week for me and it has just been dragging on. I have been getting up so early in the morning that I have been taking a nap everyday. I think my nap plan for vacation is working against me for my work week. The weeks fly by if I don't nap. But it feels like it should be close to Friday but I'm just starting Wednesday. Getting 2 days in 1 is not good during the week.

Bud Light Lime.

Monday was the national role out for Bud Light Lime. This new product was surprising good. I thought it was going to just be another fade that would come and go. It still mite be but I think it mite actually become a very popular product, especially in the summer. It is very limy and refreshing. This product would be great when doing yard work, out by the pool, the lake, or if you are just looking for something different. The wife surprisingly enjoyed it. Let me know what you think. I would really like some input.

Bear with me, I'm in a rut.

Life has been very challenging lately and not interesting or exciting. Just the same old same. The blog is suffering but I will continue to push threw my rut, just hang in there. Thing should be improving soon.

My man / fruit moment

This morning on my way to my first stop Air Supply came on the radio. I was singing " She's every woman in the world to me". I rolled up the window and had my special moment. I looked like Chris Farley and David Spade in this tommy boy clip. It was an odd moment to say the least.
What song do you like but don't like to admit it? You know the one you know every word too but, you would dare start singing it around the office.

Hello UK!

The United Kingdom has become very interested in me. I have had hits from over 6 different places in the UK this month. Not sure what has brought you to Mitchell's Brain but welcome and enjoy.

Putting myself on a hit list. Gas prices are out of control!!!!

The reason the economy is crashing is due to the oil companies and the government not addressing the issue correctly. The government want to put a solution to the wrong problem. We don't need a tax credit or a tax holiday. We need to make gas a domestic issue and stop letting the oil companies ruin our lives, homes, and jobs. If this continues it will become the poor people and the oil companies. I will vote for anybody willing to make gas a domestic issue. The candidates solutions make bad problems worse. If gas prices today dropped 2 dollars a gallon our economy would be stronger than ever. Employers would give raises the cost of everything in the store would go down and Americans would have money to spend again. This is the solution to our economy, the fall of some for the gain of many. That is in the best interest of America. So Republican, Democrat, or Independent you have my vote if you are willing to permanently fix the gas issue.

The great head fog.

Today I'm not sure how I got through. I was in a head fog all day. I think my lack of sleep is catching up with me. Not a good thing since I drive a semi truck all day. I have made it home safe and plan to go to bed early tonight to try and clear out the cobwebs. I did make some wrong turns today and clipped the front of my house on my way onto the garage. No major damage but I'm glad to be home and off the road. Not to mention the bad day I had at work today. I will be introducing more sleep tonight and probably more caffeine tomorrow, to hopefully clear up today's problems.

Positive Relationships

Stop trying to be accepted by people that don't accept you for who you are. Especially if you are ignoring or hurting the people that do accept you, for who you are. Positive relationships are the only relationships worth having.
You don't have to make everybody happy, just make sure you are taking care of the people that would take care of you. This includes taking care of yourself.

I have joined another online cult.

I have been pressured into becoming a part of my space. A lot of friends are on it and I have an upcoming high school reunion that is using my space to communicate. So If you are apart of this be my friend. Understanding mitchells brain is still my number 1 priority.

Mocked it but never got to try it.

I was disappointed that I didn't get chosen to go to jury duty. I was not excited to go at first but I was even more disappointed to go to work when I had planned not too. Not to mention I'm sure it would of been great for the web site. With all the craze's and yahoos I would of met. I was even considering taking the city bus there just to add to the experience. I received a free day pass with the summons and figured it could be fun. All and all I got what I asked for but was sad to do so. Next time I hope to be chosen and I will be a little more optimistic about the situation. Looking into the humor of it all and get the full experience of how lucky I am.

Get out of my business!!!

Many people at my work hate their jobs so much, they get pissed when they find out I like my mine. I had a person that has nothing to do with my job, he is not my supervisor, and he runs a completely different part of the company telling me I should put in 8 hours one day. I turned to him and asked "did you become my supervisor last night." He said no but I have been tracking your hours and you haven't put in an 8 hour day in weeks. Mostly just 5 and 6 hour days. The great thing is he didn't know that he only sees 1 to 2 thirds of my job depending on the day. I told him to take it to my supervisor and I don't have to answer to him. I gave my supervisor the heads up and he said he would question the good use of that supervisors time, track other departments instead of taking care of his own department. I like having the right people on my side, and I'm pretty good about covering my back side.

Jury Doodie

I'm one of the lucky people on Tuesday that will be doing jury duty. I'm kind of excited because it will give me some quiet time to not think about work, and never going to court this will be all new to me. But on the other hand I have to go down town and deal with the scum of the earth, site in traffic, and get 1 day behind on work. I think I would rather work but I will let you all know on Tuesday. I'm sure I will have stories to fill this blog for at least a week. I'm sure that I will not be chosen for a trial because if one lawyer likes me I'm sure the other will not. I'm kinda of opinionated. Hehe.

My wii pain

Last night I was challenged by an 8 year old to play some games on the wii. We started with tennis. Entering in to the 10th game I wipe the sweat from my head but it was replaced as quickly as I wiped it. After a very long stretch of loses to an 8 year old I won. Me being the good sport that I am I jumped up in her face and said "WWHOO how do you like that punk, I whipped on you ha ha ha." This was a bit silly because she laughed and said lets play boxing.
I was unaware that she has been training and is undefeated in the boxing ring. After 7 lost matches I was sure it was my time. Lets go again I said, again wiping the sweat from my face that was now out of control. Guess what, she whipped on me again. I didn't stand a chance. With the last red splatter on the TV I fell to my knees then down to the ring floor. After the 10 count I collapsed to the ground myself. Then called up the wife so I could feel better about myself and beat her up. I did and then left the party in pain.
Video games have changed since I was a kid. I woke up sore this morning. I need some ibuprofen and a massage, I'm friken old.

IM requires alot of paying attention

Today I was talking to 4 people at one time, and twitter was pulled up. I sent IM to twitter that should of gone to the wife, and IM to Melissa that should of gone to the wife. Then last night I sent Melissa IM in for herself that I was trying to send to Lisa. I'm just to popular sometimes.

Yes, Tomorrow is Friday.

This week has been crazy at work. Job duties have been bumped up and workload getting heavier. But the great thing about it all, is the respect I'm getting from upper management about the great job I'm doing. I hope to be promoted to a management position next. Anything else would be a same if not less pay, and that would make me consider my future in the company. The weekend is very busy but It's not me putting on my A game for the bosses. It just time with the family:).

Cold storage overload.

We have a side by side fridge/freezer in the kitchen, a full size deep freeze in the laundry room, and recently acquired a top and bottom freezer /fridge for free that is in the garage. This is a lot of cold storage for one family. But they are all full. Drinks in the garage, and the deep freeze has lots of meats and stuff. In a short time the drink fridge in the garage will soon be dispensing beer via the tap handle I will be installing. I enjoy keeping things cold and buying in bulk. But I can't help but wonder, is 3 too much? Don't forget I will soon be pouring draft beer in my garage, plus still have room for bottled water, juice, ect.

Stupid day.

April's Fools Day. This is a stupid day when the stupid try to trick the enemy. I don't believe much of what people say to start so this is a day that I can't even listen to the radio without being irritated. Nothing is taken seriously, or is it funny today. Stop this day and it's ridiculousness.
