Best vacation ever (part 4: Trip to Fullerton)

So Monday and Tuesday we just hung out and relaxed in Tulare. We went to Fresno for part of a day but that was about it. On Tuesday afternoon I took my Jeep up to the store and discovered that the A/C was blowing hot. My father in law had a can of freon, so we added it. Every thing was blowing cold again and I was excited it was such an easy fix.

Wednesday morning we packed up and started to head down to the Fullerton area to visit more family. After about 3 hours of our 4 hour trip the A/C was blowing hot again. I'm pretty sure it was getting worse 2 hours into the trip but I was in denial until it was just cooler to roll down the window. I concluded that I had a leak in the cooling system and didn't have the money to get it fixed. After making it to Fullerton I looked into renting a car because it would just be cruel to make my daughters and wife cross the desert during the summer in a jeep with no A/C. We got a car for about $80 one way and figured that was much cheaper than trying to get my A/C fixed. We made it to Fullerton, checked into our hotel, and prepared for the food porn marathon.
