Morning peace

This morning at about 4:45am I could not sleep so I got up and decided to have some quiet time as the family was sleeping. No children needing to be watch, and nothing be me and my laptop in the back yard. This is the first time in awhile I have sat out back and just enjoyed the morning. It's about 65 degree's, the sun is starting to rise, and the birds are flying and talking. My glass of milk and my Entenmann's - glazed devil's food popems are also helping with my Zen like moment. Parents need these moments to reflect and just enjoy being free like the birds.

I think thats the best advice I have read on your blog yet, Steve. Although I am not a parent, I am a huge advocate for taking every chance you get to stop and just enjoy your life, even if for just a short while.

And I am not saying this because I almost died.

I did enjoy my hour of time and plan to do it again soon. Life is to short to spend it busy all the time.
