Times are hard that's a fact. People are on the edge of financial ruin, family's are being torn apart, stress is at an all time high, people are still getting laid off, and I could just go on and on with the problems people are having these days. I have taken a different look at life recently and I'm learning to separate what I can control from what is out of my control. I have a beautiful wife, children, and they are healthy. I could worry about my daughters getting the H1N1 or I could just teach them to wash there hands and give them there vitamins. I'm not going to worry about them getting it before they get it. Financial stress is much hard to deal with because doing the right thing is not always possible. Still working on winning the powerball but that is not a reality YET.
I guess the point of this post is to remind people that despite all of the problems life throws at you:
- Limit unnecessary stress in your life.
- Enjoy all the great things life has to offer you.
- Be thankful to have what you need and stop caring about what you want.
- Live, Laugh, and Love like you don't have tomorrow to do it.
There no time like the presence to give more love then you get. We could all use positive words from loved ones these days.
